Trin is a bright 4-year-old girl, the second born in a family of two children. from Congo. She had recently joined play school in preparation for PP1, and her parents describe her as humble, full of humor, and always wearing an infectious smile. Her family comes from Nakuru County, where her parents work hard to provide for their family. One afternoon while playing at school, she fell. Her parents were urgently called to pick her up, but even the school staff could not clearly explain how it happened. It is difficult for her to use her hand and she is in chronic pain. Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner can help. On July 16, Trin will undergo a fracture repair procedure, called an open reduction and internal fixation. This procedure will help her use her hand easily again. Now, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $1145 to fund this procedure. My daughter is indeed a blessing, as her name states.
